The Foreign-Trade Zone (FTZ) program offers unique benefits that can reduce costs and lead times associated with international sourcing. Companies that qualify will have an opportunity to reduce, defer and sometimes eliminate duties. To calculate your company's potential savings from using an FTZ, click here.
FTZ sites within Summit County are part of FTZ #181, and are administered by the Summit County Port Authority in conjunction with the Grantee, the Northeast Ohio Trade & Economic Consortium (NEOTEC).

Store merchandise at a designated FTZ public warehouse.
The Green companies that have located in Foreign-Trade Zone 181 have benefited greatly from the zone. There are now more than 700 new employees (generating in excess of $400,000 annually in income tax revenue) working in Green specifically because of the FTZ in our community.
